MEET ISABELLE & POPPY

After growing up in the back of my parents’ restaurants, food service, catering, and a passion for true hospitality runs in my blood. "If I can, I will" has and always will be my motto while working in the industry and is a mindset that you can't find much of anymore.

Companies now seem to be bound by strict policies and have no desire to stray from them to meet the needs of their customers. Instead, I believe that flexing around my customers’ needs is the only way to build strong relationships, a loyal customer base, and a sense of community around my business. "If I can, I will" is backbone of Poppy & Co. Custom Event Cart, and I will always strive to tailor the cart to you and your event.

My sister, Mimi, and I both had restaurants named after us as kids (Mimi's Macaroni & Isa's Pizza). So when brainstorming names for this business, it felt only right to give the same experience to my beautiful daughter, Poppy.

WHERE IT BEGAN

After leaving the restaurants to work as a large scale event planner, I found myself wasting hours every month in search of vendors who would fit within my vision of each event.

Time and time again, I was coming up short on finding vendors who could flex their business to my needs. Finally, I had the realization that has been the start of every great business: "Why don't I just do it myself?"

So, I took pencil to paper and incorporated a timeless and highly sought-after style with the functionality needed for catering events. From there, I came up with the first sketch of the cart. Many months (and two professional carpenters later) a design was finalized and the vision came to light.
